Up & Growing
Breeder of Miniature Cockapoos,Toy Schnoodles and the Yorkie-Poo

We love to get pictures of our puppies as they grow and mature into wonderful adults!
This page is for those who wish to share their stories and pictures of their cockapoos.

We hope you enjoy the pictures as much as we do! Thanks for sharing!
Dee,

Love the photo of Teddy on your home page!  He truly is a darling!  He still a REAL SMOOCHER just as he was when we got him.  He was a year old on the 12th of Sept.  Can’t believe it!

I was very interested in the fact that your will be breeding Yorkies.  I saw an adorable black Yorkie Poo at the Vet’s several months ago.  I “may” be able to convince husband in time to get another little guy!  Right now much as I’d love your little guy cock-a-poo with the blue eyes it’s NOT going to happen.

Teddy is well loved however by both of us!  He can run like the wind and does figure 8’s around his BIG brother Ranger who tries hard but can’t quite catch him!  Just as well with those big teeth!  When it seems Ranger is about to catch him he plops down on his back paws in the air!  Too funny!

Poor ole Range tries to hide his bones all over the house and when Ted gets up in the morn he dashes about the house as though it’s Easter Egg hunt time!  Before he’s through he has found them all!

All best to the Van Laan’s!

Scrunchy & Leo Buff Cockapoo Puppy

Hi Dee,
Hope you are doing well.  Just wanted to say hi and the boys are doing great.  Baker is about 15 pounds and just a beautiful chocolate color and shape.  Tanner is about 18 pounds and a sweet beautiful boy - very similar to the tan cockapoo on the website.  We are having so much fun with the dogs.  They are the best of friends and are wonderful with the kids.  Baker hops like a bunny and Tanner is a tennis ball dog.  Both love new people and Baker has an amazing ability to get his tongue right in your mouth to give kisses.  Baker just loves everyone, rolls over for belly rubs and demands attention.  Tanner is more a mamma's boy although he loves attention from anyone.  Both are extremely smart and I would have bragged last week how they do not mess with the kids' toys; however, we have had some causalities this week.  I may have not been giving them enough things to chew - my fault.  They are excellent dogs.  Our groomer here is great and she keeps them when we travel.  She adores the dogs and they run her shop when they are with her. I have spent more money on dog care then child care.  We have had a lot of people inquire about the dogs and their breeder - I do not know if we have been able to send any business your way.
I have attached pictures -it is too hard to get them in one picture together without either being passed out asleep or wrestling.
All the best,
Laura

Hi, Just wanted to thank you for the great puppy we adopted from you (born 2/20/08 to Ella and Hershell). We named him Teddy and he is everything your website says. He is obedient, calm, great with our (many) kids, cute as a button and fitting in perfectly with our family. He even just passed his first puppy obedience class this week and went camping with us last week. The most amazing thing about him is that he will bypass any toys or shoes on the ground to pick out his dog toys to chew on. The worst thing about him is that he is so cute that everywhere we go we are constantly stopped so people can fuss over him (which he loves!) Thanks again for the great dog, we love Teddy!
Sincerely,
The Romeros

The Romero's just took home a Tracey/Mylo parti girl to be a playmate with Teddy. Her name is Coco!

I have been meaning to send this testimonial for a while but I have been having too much fun playing with the little love of my life.  I hope all is well!

Samson is our first pet and we will try to express in words how grateful we are to have had the opportunity to bring home one of Dee's pups.  She was very helpful in determining if a cockapoo would be the right pet for us and in making sure the one we chose would suit our lifestyle.  He is perfect.  He has his sweet times and his active/fun times and he has learned quickly who prefers which and acts accordingly.  He has warmed the hearts of even those who are not dog fans because he is so well-mannered and beautiful too.  He is learning very quickly and is taking well to all sorts of new situations as well as to people and other animals of all ages and personalities.  We would definitely recommend Dee as a breeder and her pups as member of your family.  –Ryan and Erika Deem

UPDATE 10/15/08
Hi Dee,

I hope all is well.  We are constantly getting compliments on Samson and recommending you.  He is about 24 pounds now and as sweet as can be.  He is the best traveler we could ask for and so well mannered and fun on vacations.  My family calls him the entertainer and they all want him to sleep in their rooms at night because he is such a cuddle-bug.  I think he thinks he is a person but it hasn't gotten to his head yet.  Here is his latest picture.

Take care,
Erika

We are in love with Bernie. First of all, he is adorable! The pictures didn't do him justice. We all have to get our moment alone with him or else. Of course, no one once that mid-morning time, but I get that time because he's suppose to be my puppy; however, I'm not too sure about that. My son does great with him. My husband usually laughs at big men with little dogs, but now I'm laughing.
He has adjusted well to us. He ignores the rabbit. It's funny cause they are both jumping and playing around each other, but never intentionally getting close. He isn't interested in the big dogs. We are happy with his personality. He does very well in the crate already. House training isn't that bad because somebody is almost always home. This my long way of saying that I am really happy and excited to have Bernie.

Tammy

She is GREAT! We absolutely love her.  Daddy gave her the nickname of knick-knack due to her size; it just sort of stuck.

She has not quite grasped the fact that when the kitty runs, it is not a game of chase. It is very funny to watch.  Last night the cat ran, Annabelle took off after her with Akiko (our Shiba Inu) in tow.  It gave the look of a high-speed parade.

She is so smart; she comes when you call her name, if I say, “follow mommy”, she does.  This morning I told her to sit and she did! Blair and I about fell over. Blair said she is one of the best decisions we have made and I could not agree more. She can be anywhere and when I call her name, she comes running in her little boot-scoot fashion.  She is an absolute joy.  You should have a page (maybe you do) for people to post letters on your website about how great your dogs are!

Thanks,

Ebony / Becker Cockapoo Puppy

Hello Dee,

I wanted to send you some photos of little "Sophia Sweetheart".  She has definitely won our hearts, especially my daughter, Lindsay.  Sophia has such a wonderful sweet disposition, with a four year old daughter - that is important!  Sophia spent the summer boating with us, she loves the water.  Of course, as with any puppy, she is quite mischievous at times, but very easy to house break.  She is almost six months old now.  She had her first hair cut a few weeks ago, her fur is beautiful - so soft and wavy.  She is very easy to groom.

On another note, little Petra is doing well with my mom.  She loves to play fetch and go walking.  I think she is such good company for my mom.  We're looking forward to getting the girls together for Christmas.  I'll be sure to take some photos.

I have given your name out to many friends and I still enjoy checking your site and looking at the new puppies!

Once again, Thank you for our Sophia!

Warmest Regards,

Kathleen B

Hi Dee

Well our little Wild Child is 6 months old today.  Wanted to send you a couple of pictures so you can see how she is doing.  We have all fallen in love with her.   She really is doing so well, I've been working with a trainer and have seen a tremendous change in her over the last couple of months.  She is very headstrong, but she is very sweet and loving.  She loves to lay at our feet and have her belly rubbed.

Hope all is well with you.  Enjoy the upcoming Holidays!
