PLEASE NOTE: I highly recommend reading the article about puppy nipping & biting. Puppies learn acceptable behaviour from mom & siblings. One of the ways they play is biting. When they get too rambunctious either Mom or sibling will correct them and let them know they have gone too far. Once they go home with you, it is your responsibility to teach the puppy that biting & nipping humans is NEVER acceptable. We take up where mom & siblings let go. NEVER let your puppy chew your fingers, clothes, shoes, etc. It is not cute and it will only allow them to become dominant/alpha in your household. Please consider an obedience class for you and your puppy. It helps both of you learn good training techniques and teaches your puppy to respect you and your authority.
Remember there are no bad dogs, only bad dog owners.
